Christian Surfers
Charleston is one of the newest chapters of
Christian Surfers US. Though this chapter was formed in
early 2006, Christian Surfers US has been spreading
God's word to the surfing community since 1984. Already
there are over 25 chapters around the United States and
many individual members. As a part of Christian Surfers
US, we share a similar mission, aims, core values, and
dreams, but carry out our Lord's great commission
locally.
Christian Surfers Charleston is aggressively
looking to connect with local area surfers and churches.
If you would like to know more about what we are doing
with this ministry, please take a look around this
website, and feel free to contact us, send us
suggestions, prayer requests, etc. If you'd like to
contribute in another way, your help is always
appreciated.
One of our basic aims is to serve God as a front-line
evangelical arm, but NOT as a church substitute. We
seek to act as a bridge between the Christian Church and
the beach, and recognize that the Church is where
surfers new to Christ can grow in their relationship
with Him, take part in the Lord's Supper, and be
baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and
of the Holy Spirit. As such, this "bridge" must be a two
way road that leads surfers with their unique and often
"foreign" culture into the Christian Church, and the
Christian Church to the beach to spread the Word of God
in a way surfers can relate. We are in the process of
building that bridge and are actively searching out
churches that may already have Christian surfers in
their congregation. If you would like your church to be
added to our list of churches, please submit your
church's information, and we'll get it on this page as
soon as possible.

to the Streets
First Annual
Unity in The Community Concert! |

Chapel of Charleston,
Lord of the Harvest Ministry’s R.O.C., and one other group-
all bringing forth a good message.
We will have a DJ, games, concessions
and more! |
Purpose
for Concert: We are organizing an
event where everyone can attend. It will
be fun for the whole family and we will
begin to figure out how we can make our
community a better place by showing love
to each other.
Where: River Front Park at the
Navy Base:
1001 Everglades Drive, North Charleston,
SC, 29405.
When: April 19th, Gates open at
5:00 PM, Concert time 5:30 to 8:30 PM
Event ends at 9:00 PM
Tickets and Concessions: There
will be tickets on sale before the
concert and at the gates for $1.00 each.
Approximately 2000 tickets will be sold
through area churches and to individuals
within the community. There will be
three concession stands open serving hot
dogs, burgers, sodas, and chips at very
low affordable prices (Take It To The
Streets will provide concessions). |

non-profit organization called Take It
To The Streets. Our organization would
like to help bring
positive change to those who lack hope within the North Charleston and
Charleston areas. We will have
games for the children to play and there will be several non-profit tables
provide information on services that are
